Irish under 18s get under way with the Celtic Challenge

Today Ireland's U/18's begin their competitive summer program with a trip to Scotland for the Celtic Challenge, a tournament being hosted by Basketball Scotland involving Ireland U/18, Wales U/20's and a very competitive Scottish U/18's team that are currently preparing for the Division B European Championships.

The Irish team are good mix of youth and experience with many players returning off last years under 18's team and some stepping up from last years under 16's European championship squad. This trip provides a great opportunity for the guys to get to know each other in preparation for what promises to be a highly competitive American Trip next week.

Throughout this summer program we will be bringing you news, match reports and team info as it arises.

U18 Mens Preparation Tournament

It looks like the U18 men's national team will be participating in a preparation tournament in Scotland on the 25th, 26th and 27th of June. We wish them the best of luck in this tournament.

U18 Mens Trip to the USA

Exams are finishing up and everyone is looking forward to summer and especially looking forward to the trip to the USA which is approaching fast. Dates: 1st July - 14th July. Just over two weeks left now.
